During my recent stay at a historic hostel in Dundee, I appreciated the successful blend of traditional and modern elements. Housed within the Gardyne building, dating back to 1560, the accommodation offers an interesting insight into the city’s rich heritage. The large rooms feature big windows, ensuring ample natural light, while the en suite shower provided refreshing comfort after a day of exploring. Conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the train station and close to shops and restaurants, it made venturing out easy. The facilities also include a games room with pool and darts, ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.
